I bought the 8 inch 9mm. How much velocity gain do I get vs buying the 4 inch barrel in 9mm?
I'd like to buy the 4 so the rail covered 4 inches of my can. Or get the longer rail when available.

There is a lot of potential in this platform.

Check out this site, Ballistics by the inch (http://www.ballisticsbytheinch.com/9luger.html). It doesn't look like you really lose much with a 4" barrel chop, especially considering the ideal application for those things.

Great chart, yea 130 to 150 fps loss. That is an indoor gun ideally, and I plan to use for HD, and play. So if I can buy a 4 inch barrel assembly in the future, Im all over it. Thanks

I would do 4.5" and buy the K rail. That way if you have a scenario where OAL overrides suppression, you can run with with the K rail alone. I mean let's be honest, swapping rails on an MPX takes about 2.7 seconds. I'll be doing the same when my stamp comes back on my DA Ghost.
