Looking forward to it! The new NSR-SD looks sweet and can't wait for further details on that. Love this time of year!!

I am sure it will only be $2499 too........
VERY curious as to what rail will live on the new N6. I've been dying for some slim NSR-like 308 rails for years now.
I just ordered the SMOS Arms MLOK NSRish for a 308 a few days ago. It's barrel-nut-thin and fairly lightweight (as lightweight as MLOK can be.)
Since SMOS made the NSRs, I'd assume the new N6 will have something similar. Thin is still in.

From Noveske Rifleworks:
The long awaited N6 Gen III. Currently in production, available early spring. It will come in two sizes (12.5" & 16"), with or without our new Switchblock Micro. SR25 pattern, single piece NSR (even on Switchblock models), and ambi controls. More details soon! #Noveske #N6G3

And there ya have it. Leonidas returns.
Great looking KeyMod rail.
I see a SR25 pattern N6 16" Noveske barrel in my near future to replace my N6 16" Armalite pattern barrel!
In for micro switchblock.

Cost and weight are the biggest questions for me

Will be expensive (I'm thinking $3000 - $3500). I'd still rather have a Knights SR-25 if I'm going to be spending that much on a rifle.

Those G3 billet lowers are tanks, yet alone a 308 version + upper. I've got a G2 N4 lower I don't use because it's such a boat anchor. The barrel will probably be a medium profile weighing in near 40oz.

That is the issue. John Noveske pulled the N6 line because he did not like it.
Whatever is coming is not the replacement that he was working on when he died. Regardless of what people think or say, John is the one who axed the N6, and he did it with plenty of parts on hand to continue building them. I hope the new "N6" does well, and helps Noveske out. For the people that say this should have been out years ago, there was going to be a new .308 coming from John Noveske, and he was very proud of the ideas and concept he had for it.
Makes sense. I know I was hoping for something a bit more revolutionary/evolutionary. The DPMS G2 is just that. Yet I know there's probably patents/licensing involved with that. Which means anything 'new' will be yet one more proprietary platform, which we don't want.

Since it looks like John's vision of the N6 won't come to pass, can you expand a little on what we might have seen instead of this?
Good Lord. This looks incredible.

I have been dreaming about an NSR rail for the .308/AR-10 since the NSR came out 3.5 years ago or so.
This plus Switchblock plus PMag compatible plus Noveske quality sounds good to me.
So when do these actually become available? All the info I can find is 8mths old!!!

They're shown on the website but most rifles in the noveske website CANNOT be purchased through the website. I wish that noveske would sell rifles directly.

They've been on their website but it has always said that you can't purchase it on their website...... lol

Any updates on these? Particularly the weight?
That looks like MEGA's handiwork, if I had to guess. At least we know the receivers will be dimensional correct, if that's the case.
Rainier Arms has them for just over $3000.

Finally got to hold one of these and it was lighter than a DD and was just super nice, one of those guns hat just felt right. Action was super smooth. Really balanced well too. It was a switchblock store had put an aim point and streamlight on it
So excited, mine arrives tomorrow!

I found out N6 barrels don't have polygonal rifling, I was bummed to hear that but Tim from noveske said that when John was still alive he did his testing and found that 5.56 saw accuracy and velocity increases with polygonal but the others did not.
Rainier Arms has them for just over $3000.
I just clicked on your link and it now says $3,420.
