Not much posted about this JP LRP-07 (308 caliber). Is this a quality rife (Price $3000.00)? I would appreciate any input, opionions, good bad or ugly. Thanks.

it was one of my choices when i was looking for a ar-10 style rifle

i hunt with mine in the mud and muck and wanted a dust cover style upper which is not an option. other than that i actually put my hands on one for 10 rounds, sweet shooter and less felt recoil than my 308 but prob due to the muzzle break on it

Why not get an Armalite upper, a JP carrier, a DPMS bolt and a Noveske barrel with a small port. Throw it all together with a Larue rail, or the VTAC, and open the port up until it all works together.

It appears that it is almost impossible to get a review of one of these. Everything I have heard about their AR-15's is positive. I am considering ordering one of the LRP's but it is tough for me to think that it is worth 500-1000 more than one from GA Precision.
