This looks interesting. Insight is known to make the god stuff, any1 running one of these? Wondering if they co-witness?

Ive never used one but what I recall this thing sprang from the M8/G36 rifle program of a few years back. It's big. It's heavy. It does not co-wittness IIRC. And it's FOV is claimed to be too limited for a RDS. I also think it's cost might have doomed it for average Joes as the .mil contracts never happened to offset the costs to us.
Im a lttle surprised that we havent seen this thing show up in (limited numbers at least) Iraq/Afgan unlike the very sim in concept MARS sight. ALL the faults the of the IT optic listed above the MARS sight has as well. But strangly and recently it was fairly common to see MARS sights on a few units (Army) rifles. Cheers.

I had one for T&E for a short period of time. It's incredible success in the market speaks for itself ... :rolleyes:
