It's pretty good stuff. I found it a bit too salty for my personal tastes, but certainly not bad. I'm the kind of guy that thinks a good steak (and why bother eating any other kind?) doesn't need anything more than a bit of salt and fresh cracked pepper, so the 'Dillo Dust wasn't really for me.
It was, however, much better when I added it some buffalo burgers. :)

Love it. Makes for a good seasoning that's unlike most everything else available. I like how they're going in a whole different direction with it's sweetness, rather than go for "Gee, look how hot & salty I can make your food".
GREAT stuff.
I'll never forget the look on my wife's face and "HUH?" I got when I pulled that out of the box and proclaimed "Hey look they sent us some Dillo Dust!"
We've used it a few times, decent on grilled chicken :)

+1, my girlfriend has a whole new respect for Larue... She actually notices they exist now. Smart move Larue, I appreciate that!
...now hopefully when the Larue boxes show up she won't get so mad

It appears to me to be Lowry's season salt (for the most part).

My wife over-uses the Lowry's...I'm pretty sure it would show up on my blood test...the LT stuff tastes a little different to me.
We bought a jar of the seasoning from Red Robin...that is some good stuff! Especially on burgers and fries.
I use it on burgers, hot dogs, etc...I'm a fan :)
I just throw it away when it comes with my mounts.. i dont like salt on my rifles.
Yeah, makes your buffer feel really gritty eh? :D
I was actually really surprised the first time i put it onto grilled chicken, it was pretty darned good. I liked it so much that i was sad to see an empty bottle, i was wondering if i could re order it without having to spend 500 dollars on it. :D

It's good on pork?

It's good on pork?
Yup. It's great on chops.
Here's a pic of some Dillo Dust in the GWOT, with some nice steak. War is hell.

Agreed.

GTG on pork. Most recently, bacon wrapped tenderloin. Great for the war effort.

Stick that puppy in a crock pot and let it run all day.. The smell alone makes me drool. My hat's off to LaRue I'll have to order something else once this runs out.
Just to get some more Dillo Dust!
I use it as a rub on chickens before I throw 'em on the smoker. Tasty!
Good mount.
Good meat rub.
tactical meat rub?
It's like season-all with sugar. Great on ribs, chicken and burgers. Can anyone tell me what the hell COMINO is. Never heard of it.
Why is it good for the war effort?

Comino is Spanish for cumin.

I'm tempted to take a byte out of my laptop just looking at that food!

My young sons Love the stuff. It is mandatory on there eggs or on spaghetti/pasta. They call it "Dillo sauce".
I am running low. Soon, I might have a mutany on my hands.
I like it. I still have quite a bit of it since I experiment with a half million different rubs and spice mixes anyway, though.

I give it away. I've tried it on burgers, steaks, chicken, and ribs, both on the gill and on the smoker. I find it bland and grainy. I have better options in other jars, either mixed myself or storebought.

What do you prefer storebought?
We have not found anything as good for pork chops on the grill. I really like this stuff.
I rubbed some on my meat but the wife didn't like the taste.
I've used it on a few stir fry dishes, and it seems like I get the flavor more the day it's cooked rather than when reheated from leftovers. Overall I like it though.

Y'all have convinced me, and on Friday I will use it on pork chops. I can barely wait. I will also try it on chicken and burgers at some point. I was going to crack it open for some steaks I did, but my friend was already raiding the spice rack making his on rub, which was quite good.

Tango Mike India! :D
Just coated a couple of Omaha Steak burgers in the stuff. My favorite application so far!
I like it on burgers... I find it pretty hard to complain about something I get for free anyhow...

Perhaps a little sweeter. But I would say that you are mostly right. I like the stuff, but then I also like lowry's
I run it on my Pork chop uppers and Chicken lowers. Works great.
I was just saying a couple of days ago that I need more... and that means that I will have to order more things from Larue. There's the true value of it. If anyone else knows of a different rub that I can use to justify buying 100s of dollars worth of gear from Larue, please let me know about it :D.
getting some dillo dust, a few magazines, some stickers, and candy has given larue all of my future business in whatever i buy AR related.
It's even good on.

I use it on my BCG's. If you put enough on you don't even have to stake the carrier key.

I have some Dillo Dust I got in a Larue sponsored care package at a class. I will have to try it on some pork...
Though I used to make jokes about it as a kid, Tofu can be pretty good depending on what you do with it (learned this after I married a girl from Japan)
Chad
I got a jar in a "package" from a recent class, I'll be trying it out on chicken this weekend. It'll be a good saturday, grilling and opening beers with my new armadillo opener!
Rally,
It is horrible stuff. You don't want it. Plus, its been declared a biological agent so you can't throw it in the trash. If you'd like, you can mail it to me and I will dispose of it in accordance with the regulations. :D
