Daniel Defense Breaks Ground On New State-of-the-art Manufacturing Facility

Daniel Defense is thrilled to announce breaking ground on a brand new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. This new 38,000 ft/sq facility will make it possible for Daniel Defense to more efficiently design and manufacture new parts and accessories for Military, Law Enforcement, and Commercial communities. Daniel Defense chose the new Bryan County, Interstate Commerce Centre in Black Creek, GA as the site for the new facility. Located off I-16 just West of Savannah, this facility will have easy access from the Interstate and will bring many employment opportunities to the surrounding areas. Daniel Defense plans to complete construction and occupy the new facility by spring 2009.

Daniel Defense would like to thank all of those who attended the Ground Breaking Ceremony.

Looking at that site plan, you have some great room to grow as well.

(I confess that I don't envy you the construction process, I'm in the biz and will tell you to watch the GC like a HAWK!)

GCs usually aren't too bad. It's those pesky drywallers that I look out for. ;)

Actually the first building will be filled to capacity immediately after occupancy.

As you noticed when the site was laid out we left ourselves the ability to add additional buildings to the same site.

Building two at this site is already under consideration.

i did not see a shooting range in the plan, do you have one ? if "yes" is it outdoors or inside ?

Can't speak for the old one, but the new one says "120 x 140" on the plans they posted and looks to be two story judging by the windows. So, 16000+/- per floor.

Can't believe I missed that. Anyways building is around 28,000 sq.ft. (you don't add the sq footage per floor btw :D ) nice size. Actually I read their press release and they claim a 38,000 sq.ft. ? 240x120 = 28800. My building is only 20,000 sq.ft. but I wish I would have bought a bigger one. Anyways, I wonder what they are going to do with that extra space on their lot.
