Just wondering if the forum would be interested in a muti-tool picture thread/sticky. I think it would be cool. New ones, Old ones, customized ones....anything multi-tool.

I love me a good multi-tool, whether it has a functional roll or it just tickles your fancy. Ill post a few pics of a new one i just got yesterday. It's primary use is for work as I generally need a very strong pair of pliers at work more than anything, fallowed by a few normal drivers and a knife. this Leatherman should suit the job (pun intended) perfectly. I will post some pics of my "outside of work" EDC multi-tool later.

EDIT: just noticed that you cant see the Philips driver in the picture.

Are those pliers strong enough to do fencing with? Haven't found a multi-tool yet that will handle that twisting force.

My guess would be....maybe. I just got them last night and haven't had much time to use them so I honestly don't know for sure.

What kind of fencing are you talking about though

I've had a Crunch for several years. No, I don't think it would stand up to much heavy gauge steel wire fence mending. If you used it carefully it might work in a pinch, but don't expect it to hold up like a real tool made for the job.

The Supertool is pretty heavy duty, but Leatherman tools are just not made to do heavy work on a daily basis. IMHO. Medium to light work yes.

Extra points awarded if you are doing something cool with it - cutting det cord, crimping blasting caps, pulling a fang from a wolf's mouth....
