I just got an email from usdoj.gov, welcoming me as a new eforms user, and it said the Form 1 wait is currently 5 months.

I was thinking more along the lines of 4-8 weeks? I know they are getting hammered, but 5 months, haha.

I'm not sure if this is important to anyone but also stated :

Form 2: 1 month
Form 5: 1 month
Form 6: 6 weeks
form 9: 1 month

Yeah, joke is on you for this one.

My last one was 9/8/15->1/13/16, so just over 4 months. And with the volume that has been submitted since O-Bummers speech in early Jan, I bet it'll be closer to 6-9 months for anything new.

I know my local dealer did 4 months of 2015 business in the first 25 days of Jan. Silencer Shop said they mailed off 64lbs of paper on the Monday after the speech.

I have a form 3 that was submitted 1/5. It was approved 2/8.

I have a form 4 with check that was submitted 1/22........ still waiting. My past records show that all my form 4's are usually received and checks cashed within 8 days. If the ATF is weeks behind collecting money....... I can only imagine what poor soul that is waiting for his tax return, and submitting in March+ is going to wait.

I have a feeling we are going to eclipse the 2013 (9+ month wait times).

My dealer didn't sign the Form 4, so I had to resubmit After Obummers EO. So I'm sure the wait will be long now.

I'll take the bet that putting in from June to July this year you'll have at least a 1-year wait time.

I have a Form 1 SBR on a Trust. Application dated Jan 1, 2016. They cashed the check on Jan 12, 2016. It went pending and spoke to ATF today...@ a 5 month wait.

You were fortunate. My second to last form 3 was mailed in November and took 75 days door-to-door. My most recent one was mailed December 2nd and is still not approved (70 days so far). The dealers in question are top-tier so there's no question that the wait is at BATFE. I don't expect to take possession of either item until sometime in 2017.

I'm doing everything I can. The wait is never getting better, so you have to just bite the bullet and wait. I think I got my Sig MPX and a Noveske lower SBR, sent in just before the explosion.

On the other hand , my cans are on death row.

I've got an E-filed Form 1 that was submitted 10/18, went pending 10/30 and I'm still waiting. I bet it'll be every bit of 5 months when I receive it. I just sent off for two more E-file Form 1's last week, I'm sure they will push 7-9 months.

I've seen all kinds of late Oct, even early Nov eForms being approved in the last week and a half. Should be any day for a 10/30.

I submitted mine 10/31, and it was approved last week.
