Black extractor spring on a middy

Is there an advantage to using a black extractor spring on a midlength?

It can't hurt. I run HD extractor springs in all my ARs and I've never had an issue running them in my Sabre mid-length. Positive extraction is a good thing ;)

I too use the upgraded spring and black insert on my middy. No O-ring though...
