I just took a crazy leap of faith on a Sig 338LM can. The can is the same size as my 300WM cans from Thinderbeast and Gemtech.

I've seen the cut away of one and they have more than your average amount of baffles. Interesting! The adapter is very cool. You need not time the adapter/ mount. It's a two piece design that has the mount attach directly to barrel. Then it comes with a " mini brake", the brake can be timed. It helps ensure your can is mounted inline. And mini the brake is, very mini. But they are going to have a variety of brakes Etc launch later that can be used with the mount. The mount is some crazy hybrid , screw on / locking system. I understand this attachment system has been around in other machining products. It also is designed so you can use a wrench if the can gets cooked on.

I bought the Ti QD, so they are light. Also the 338 can was $950, the 556 is $725. So price is quite reasonable and comes with mount. They look a little goofy like a torpedo, but it grew on me. I'm using the 338 on a 300WM, BUT PLAN TO TORTURE IT.

RANGE REPORT in 4 months.

I took a leap on a Sig SRD556TI-QD, so I guess I can offer a similar range report in 4-6 months.

I've been looking for a sig SRD762 direct thread for a 308 sbr. At about $550 and 15 ounces, should be durable, it seems like a good fit for me.

I think that he is referring to the ATF wait time. My last two suppressor stamps that were received in January took about 4.5 months.

Also, eForm 1's seem a little faster recently. I had 1 get approved on 2/5 that was paid for on 10/24. Granted this is nothing like last Winter / Spring where Form 1's were 3-4 weeks. But definitely better than late Summer 2015 for my submissions.

Rumor has it that the number of Form 1/4 submissions in the 4th quarter 2015 was down a bit probably due to people seeing how the new rule change would be rolled out.

4-5 months, I fear that will be a thing of the past. Anything submitted after January will be 6+ months IMHO. Anything submitted at deadline will most likely be back to 2013 numbers (9 months).

The week after Obummer's address Silencer shop submitted 65 pounds of forms. I have a form 4 submitted 1/22 that still hasn't had the check cashed. That was running 2 weeks ago back in December.

NFA wait will be ridiculous soon. I had a Form 4 submitted on July 2 and just got my can last week. This was right after Obummer brought out 41P. I can't imagine how long it'll take now.

An 11.5oz all-Inconel thread-on 5.56 can for under $500 is exciting. It makes up for the canceled Ranger 3 for sure.

Does anyone have one in hand? I decided last year to buy that over the $295 Trek but glad I didn't wait for it.

Did they hit the shelves and get sold out?

I knew what he meant but I'm still waiting on an Omega from the end of September. And with the mad rush to beat the new rules, I can't even imagine what the wait will be. If I bought one today I would not expect to see it in 4 months.

Held the 5.56 version yesterday, felt about half the weight of my NT4; didnt get to try it on a muzzle device but the latch seemed easy enough.

I'd like to buy their screw on all steel version. Always wanted a screw on. I'm getting one Thurs. Or a m4-2000 for final ass whipping by Uncle Sam.

Figured I'd bump this since I didn't see any other threads on it. Anyone have hands on time with Sig SRD yet?

We've been shooting Pappa's 338 can on a 300 WM. No problems.

Have a 762 qd ti in jail. I have heard amazing things from those doing .mil testing.

I have shot their 762 can in an MCX in .300blk. Scary quiet. If my local class 3 had one in stock I would have bought it.

Like Mark said, the 338 did very well on a 300WM. I have in jail, because I heard the direct thread on, 7.62 can is very quiet. Several guys at my LGS, Merchant firearms, said it was more quiet on a 300WM vs all other cans on 308's.

Looking forward to using more of their stuff.

Interesting. I may have to look closer at their offerings. One of their regular thread on cans might not be bad just to have.
