Midway has an Aimpoint 9000sc realtree camo on sale for $250. I have been looking for a new optic for my Springfield scout in Mossy oak. Has any one had any experience with their 9000sc? I assume its quality because it's an Aimpoint but I would still like any opinions.

I have one from the midway sale and I have to say that I like it, although I haven't mounted it on my gun yet. It does come with some low rings, but they aren't quick detach. I would think that it would work for your application just fine. The only thing I wouldn't be sure about is if the 4moa dot would hamper long range shooting. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can chime in about the dot size. This thread may also help you out.

I did a search and didn’t find that thread. The 4moa dot size is fine with me. Right now I have a cheep RDS on it now with 5moa dot and I can hit out to 300yds with it. I think I will go ahead and order it.
