I'm looking at purchasing the alpha bib and jacket for hunting. Does anyone have any experience with these products? I'm worried that the material is too loud for hunting purposes. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Any other comments good or bad on these products? Thanks for your time.

I purchased some of their Gortex pants (Sphinx pants also, most comfortable pants I ever wore for upland bird hunting - wind proof and articulated) and top (LEAF) prior to deer season in WI this past season. I have never felt lighter and more comfortable than I did wearing their gear - it is amazing stuff, rugged and well designed. Maybe a tad noisy, but not noticeable on a slow stalk.

I attached a link to this guy (left side LEAF and throughout) he does some amazing reviews of Arc Teryx clothes and gear. Also, I recommend going to A T web site as they have videos of most of their gear.

Are there any other options for quiet multicam bibs?

I only have experience with their pants - you'd have to check their website.

I've got a set of Beta AR Pro2 Gortex in black and they're a little "tougher" heavier material than the Alpha Gortex Pro in multicam I recently picked up but I haven't hunted with them yet but they seem less noisy, less stiff. Probably wear them during turkey season here in a couple months, weather depending. The Beta's ok on a slow stalk. I have their Sabre pullover (black wear a light orange vest over) a little less noisy than the Beta pants. This stuff is the most wind proof/comfortable system with light base and medium mid layer, I've ever worn. I was never for a moment uncomfortable. Pricey but amazing.

Check products under Hardshell they do have multicam bibs.

I was looking at the alpha bibs, but have ruled them out. I emailed Arc'teryx customer support and they indicated that they are noisy and wouldn't recommend them for hunting purposes. I have looked nearly everywhere online and have found a few options, but nothing real promising. I'm shocked there aren't more options for multicam bibs. Thank you.

You will probably have to get into a Silent Weave. Cabelas has a good product line and I have run their gear for years, but you wont find multicam on their list.

The silent part is gonna be the issue. MultiCam is a military camo and you are going to get military type offerings. Both ebay and amazon have multicam with goretex. Might be your only shot.

Thanks for the info. I'm just really shocked there aren't more options. My friend has a pair of gore tex bibs that he wears waterfowl hunting. When they rub together, you can hear them from 100 yards away. Here's another option I've found:

I will keep looking.
