Thanks...but this a small one, for now....Famous last words right?
I think we should be ok, its actually semi sunny right now where i am, yeah its raining but at least it doesnt look like the apocalypse is upon us like it usually does during these things. :p
We're standing by ready for whatever happens.
Thanks for the good wishes ZDL. I am in the Miami/Ft. Lauderdale area and it seems to be passing us by. We are getting a lot of rain from the outer bands, but very little wind. :D Good luck to everyone else!
Billy, im over here in Parkland/Boca and all we are getting is rain as well.
Stay safe brother!
north end of Palm Beach county.............rain on and off most of the day. This thing should pass us by. Good luck and be safe to those that are/will be affected by it
Thanks for the good wishes. Tampa Bay area here. Not expecting much. Probably the biggest head ache is that the kids started school today and now have tomorrow off. Plus my in-laws will be here if they have to evac out of their MH. Thank God I have plenty of ammo.
Magz and avmech, I guess you guys are getting lots of rain now. It has passed my area, just getting light showers and some sun at this point. Dodged another bullet!
we got most of the rain overnight, tornado touched down south of here. Some rain, mostly wind late morning, now mainly overcast, some wind. Had no problems my way. Good luck to those that still have to deal with it

Port St. Lucie is basically flooded, up to 5 feet.....................about 25 miles from here
By what the models have projected it might come up into my backyard:eek:

My plan is the same every season. When the Cat 3's come over, I duck. Anything less I just ice down the beer, test the generator, and check the chain saw.

We barely got a drop in the Tampa Bay area. I flew by it a couple of times today, too bad I forgot my camera...
Still dry here... For now.
don't trust CNN or any other news source for hurricane info.
Go to the National Hurricane Center web site for real info. The site is nhc.noaa.gov and just scroll down for location and probability charts.
I use www.crownweather.com/tropical.html lots more info than NHC (it does have the NHC info too)
