Light primer strikes.

A friend of mine sent me a text saying hes getting several light primer strikes for every mag. I asked him what ammo he is using and he said american eagle. I think thats federal so it should be good to go. I just told him to clean his bolt as there may be trash in the firing pin area. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

Make sure the hammer spring is not installed backwards, firing pin is not damaged and firing pin channel is not full of crud.
