Titanium nitride and Alkali

My knowledge and intuition tell me soaking my TiN coated ss baffles in a TSP solution should be fine, but I don't know what I don't know.

I also know TSP can be used to anodized Ti (I think that's what I read), which makes me second guess.

Is soaking them in caustic solution overnight okay? I want to get the heavy stuff off before tumbling.

I edited it to be specific. It was "Tin", I meant "TiN"

I did get a pm with some info. I may just go with simple green but still curious about the ceramic coating and reactions with alkali.
