My current go-to rifle is a Colt 6920 with a DD Omega 7.0 rail w/a VTAC light mount and an ancient Surefire G2. I'm in the process of upgrading some equipment and I'd like to utilize the real estate that lies forward of the FSB so I can mount a Surefire X300 Ultra at the 12 o'clock position. At this time I'd prefer to stay with a picatinny rail unless of course someone can convince me otherwise.

So....who makes a rail that will allow me to accomplish my goal or is there such a rail that will work with the carbine-length gas system?

This is the only thing I've found: https://troyind.com/products/charlie-blk

I'd look into Daniel Defense or Centurion Arms for quad rails with a FSP cutout. The Centurion Arms uses the stock barrel nut but DDs don't.

Centurion Arms would be my first recommendation but I don't think they make a unit with rail section in front of the cut for the gas block.

I think the DD would be your best bet: https://danieldefense.com/rail-systems/m4a1-fsp-rail-interface-system-ii-ris-ii.html

They used to make a Omega Rail with that cut out but I no longer see it on their site but you may find one used.

I have an Omega X 12 FSP that I am very happy with on one of mine. Here it is at Midway :

Found a NIB DD Omega X 12 FSP on Gunbroker and got it for a decent price. Waiting on the Big Brown Truck now.

There is a Troy rail in the EE I believe that will work, but I would recommend the DD rail above others for what you want.
