Anyone here running some? Specifically for a truck. I know the Smittybuilt covers work for Jeeps, but I've got a 2014 F-150.

My pistol wore through the leather, and I ain't paying to get this shit reupholstered. I don't care if MOLLE seat covers are ugly, they're less ugly than a gaping hole in my sick ass leather seats.

Pics if ya got 'em. Tips if ya can share 'em.

I was over on Tacoma World the other day and saw some great ones. They even had a rifle rack built in the the back of the passenger seat cover.
I will Scout that out again.
I want a pair before I jack up the new upholstery.

Never knew these existed. Google image search via this thread has taught me a lot about them today.

I have had these camo seat covers in my 2011 F150 for 5 years. The color is a little faded but they are still very much water resistant. I don't believe they offer the molle back but the fit and finish are great. http://www.marathonseatcovers.com

The real question here... It wore through the leather in two years? Damn...

I'm pushing three plus on my daily driver and you can see a slight compression mark where the pistol sits, but nothing near a hole being worn into the leather itself. I guess you might be in and out of the vehicle all day, and that might accelerate wear, but that seems crazy fast.

Does a '14 F150 have SRS bags in the seat? If so, putting a cover on it would prevent them from working. God forbid u get t bones and they can't deploy cause of the seat and you get hurt, I can see a problem with insurance paying out.

I'm thinking that's been engineered in to these seat covers, it pretty much has to be otherwise the liability for such a thing would be outrageous.
I'm digging the seat covers with the ability to attach gear. I'm thinking that's about perfect for a fire extinguisher and a blow out kit. The ability to hang a AR Pistol back there my be nice also.

I haven't had a four year old in, Mmmmmm 17 years?
The backseat of anything I own seems to turn in to a lounge for my Dog.

I was referring the the recent thread of the pro-gun mom whose kid shot her in the back with her own gun from the back seat. I guess you missed that one… It was very sad.

And, Alex V, that's an affirmative on the side-seat airbags as well. Could present some challenges...

Not all of them. My dad asked for a heated seat cover for Christmas when I looked it up and read the description in small print at the bottom of the page it said "do not use with side impact airbag equipped seats" something along those lines.

He was also hit on the side a while back by a pickup. Took a ride to the hospital but was alright in the end. the questionair he got from the insurance co actually asked if he had seat covers since his side airbags didn't go off.

OP, I know how much you just L O V E all things Kryptek . . .

http://www.marathonseatcovers.com/colors-and-patterns/

But in all seriousness they make truck seat covers for popular models (the F-150 being the most popular truck) out of Cordura Nylon pretty much every color and camouflage pattern.

$300 for just the front seats, custom and I'm sure nice, but that's a bit of cheese for some seat covers.

Outlander, did you ever get some seat covers?

I'm looking for some myself, and am interested to see if there is anything else new out there.

Negative.

Ironically, I just had the Outlander Mobile detailed, and the hunt is back on. The interior is no longer home to a 1" layer of pollen, shell-casings, Copenhagen crumbs, and coffee stickyness.

Once I finish up a couple of projects, I'm going to make some upgrades to the truck, and first on the list are seat covers. About two weeks ago I found some that piqued my interest. I'll see if I can dig the link back up...

Roger that. I just bought another truck, and seat covers are a priority. It's the first truck I've had in over a decade without leather.

I'm looking at the Marathon covers, and they look ok. It's going to be a big change going from leather to Cordura or something else.
