Hi All,

We are from Fortis Manufacturing and just wanted to make a presence here on M4. We want to make ourselves available to help where we can with questions pertaining to our products. Glad to meet you all and hopefully I can be a helpful voice (text?).

Welcome! I think you're supposed to follow some vendor rules which include a signature stating such, and what not.

Welcome. It's always nice to have manufacturer reps here.

So far I have no complaints about the Fortis products I own, so I can't (yet) entertain you there.

I just noticed that Fortis is located in Kent... so with that in mind, I have to echo this sentiment. I assume all the aerospace we have here in the Pacific Northwest is the reason we have so many high end firearms companies that feature complexly machined products have sprung up around here. Speaking of which, American Rifle Company is also based in Kent... do you guys ever get together and talk about CNC machines? ;)

Welcome, quick question.... how much did you pay to get the Shift in Tom Clancy's The Division? ;)

I'm so sorry for the late reply. We didn't pay for any of it. They didn't even ask us to use it. But it's we're not complaining at all. Free advertising.

I didn't know you guys were in Washington.

Is there a golden ticket of some sort I can obtain, for a tour of the proverbial chocolate factory?

You want a tour of the fun factory obviously. I'm in the office where we store and ship the products from. None of the fun machines here.

A boy's dreams.

I've had the incredible opportunity to visit locations for two manufacturers here in Western Washington. Seeing the process first hand gave a bit of appreciation for the scale of investment needed to just put out one product, even when a shop might already be ready equipped for aircraft parts contracts.

Always liked Fortis' rails - never owned one. Recently purchased a Hammer CH for my brother's AR.:)

Nice, we're running at nearly 100% for most of the day. We have a lot of stuff that caught us off guard as far as how fast it sold. We had to do some shuffling of some priorities. But we'll get there, especially with summer months being a little slower. Being out of stock on a stuff sucks. And we got another lathe that just went live a week or 2 ago so that's going to help get caught up.

The best advertising is free advertising :)

I'll be supporting a fellow Washingtonian and his business.
