Hi guys,

I'm working on my lightweight 10.3" project and need to find a rail for it. I prefer something that's lightweight, slim, is either Keymod or M-lok, and uses the standard barrel nut (is that Troy specialty or do other manufactures have rails that does this too?). The rail has to be shorter than 9.5", since any longer it'll interfere with the barrel threads.

A quick search yield the following results:
•Troy M-Lok 5.56 9"
•BCM KMR 9" (9.4" actual)
•Gieselle SMR Mk8 9.5"

Are there any other rail that fits my criteria? Does anyone know how much the Troy weighs?

Any additional info is highly appreciated. Thanks!

Not the thinnest, but it still feels good.

Check out the Fortis Rev2. They have them in 7.25" & 9.125" that would meet your requirements. And their super lightweight.

Forgot to mention that it does use the standard barrel nut.

The original KeyMod rail is still worth checking out. Noveske NSR 9". The BCM KMR Alpha is substantial cheaper though.

DD has a 9" Lite Rail III and has or will have a 9" SLiM Rail.
