He may sweep Clinton today putting him close to 1000 delegates. The super delegates are carrying Clinton right now but it could change if he keeps winning.

Talk about a disaster. That guy would beat any GOP contender in a landslide and his only policy is "Free everything".

Kind of a good/bad scenario......hilliary's former PC technician turned state's witness spills the beans and the FBI arrests hilliary....Bernie wins nomination and gets voted in...socialism still wins...

Not gonna happen. DNC apparatus is already in the tank for Hillary the felon

Democrats don't get arrested. Hillary could walk up to someone in Times Square in broad daylight, put a gun to his head and pull the trigger. The only thing that would happen would be the NY Times and Huffpost pointing out if George Bush didn't get arrested for the thousands of Iraqis mercilessly slaughtered by our troops, Hillary should get a pass too.

I'm not so sure he would win. His only true supporters are unemployed college students and hardcore liberals. If any GOP contender were to press him on the issues I think he would crumble almost instantly.

He'll never get the nomination though. The fix is in for Hillary and has been for quite some time.

If he actually won the general election, there is a reset button very near on the horizon, unfortunately... I don't believe the polls and I will only believe the American people would elect a 70+ year old proud socialist curmudgeon when I see it.

So what happens if Clinton wins the nomination and then sometime between then and Nov. she is brought up on charges and is thus unable to continue her run? Would the Republican candidate automatically become president or would Sanders or some other Democrat step in to fill her spot?

This is where it gets murky. Arrested or indicted is not convicted. Would dems still allow her to run? Perhaps. They have the numbers. If she pulled out, they could have Bernie run or throw the weight behind someone else. Problem is in many if not most places that candidate would have to be a write in due to election laws and sign up deadlines. Not that that can't be overcome as Obama was illegally on the ballot in a couple states as I recall.

The PC tech would get the old Vince Foster treatment way before that could happen.

No, the deck is stacked with super delegates and the FBI investigation into Hitlary will be swept under the carpet. Typical politics in actions.

The "people" voted for a socialist haji pos twice.....do you really have any faith in the "people" ?

The young college-goers want free school.

But when I suggest that a right to the fruit of another person's labor was ended with the emancipation, they call me a racist.

Obama will pardon her. He will do this to "heal" the nation.

Jumping in here late, but my .02 is that we won't see Bernie nominated unless the FBI investigation yields an indictment of Hilary
Clinton. Otherwise, I think it is very safe to assume that she is the one. I'd go so far as to refer to her as the presumptive nominee, particularly the way the
Democrat's nominating process works with their "super delegates."

They voted for a black guy that sweet talked him, blacks showed up in droves and whites voted that way out of "white guilt", a result of cultural Marxism. Bernie is an old white Jewish curmudgeon with no charisma.

The country has voted this way before and we have changed course, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, LBJ & Jimmy Carter all come to mind.

Yup, the #BLM militants at Mizzou are now calling for "diverse studies" as prerequisite for anyone to be able to graduate. They are actually attempting to prevent students from receiving their degrees until they have been brain washed with their supremacist propaganda.

Bernie would be WAYYY better than Hill, especially for 2A rights.

Also, his economic policies are legislative issues, not executive. Within 2 years he would guarantee an R majority (super-majority?), which would stalemate any sort of socialist economic agenda.

His foreign policy and social policy are Libertarian, and those areas are far more in the executive arena. I would love to see less neocon interventionism for financial reasons. And I'd like to see an end to the war on drugs, attacks on personal privacy, etc.

The only concern would be SC appointments, since his selection would be a real wildcard. 2A wouldn't even be a consideration in his selection process, but in general he'd lean liberal on the court.

In short, I'd vote Bernie over Trump or a RINO, but Cruz over Bernie. And as long as it's not Hillary on the D ticket, my blood pressure will be lower going into November.

To be sure - I'm not exactly a Bernie supporter. Socialism is no Bueno in my book. I just think that either Bernie or Trump would be a real test of the checks and balances, and I see Trump as a continuation of the executive overreach that's been going on for a long time. Bernie is at least a course-change, even if it's left rather than right.

I wish he would do it as it would be a death knell for her. People would actually see her for what she is and I suspect many who would have voted for her will walk away.

I've thought about this myself. A pardon would be as good as a conviction in terms of destroying her image. The only question is if she's willing to take the chance if it means avoiding prison.

Barry came to national prominence as mayor of the national capital, the first prominent civil rights activist to become chief executive of a major American city.[3] He gave the presidential nomination speech for Jesse Jackson at the 1984 Democratic National Convention. His celebrity was transformed into international notoriety in January 1990, when he was videotaped smoking crack cocaine and was arrested by Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) officials on drug charges. The arrest and subsequent trial precluded Barry seeking re-election, and he served six months in a federal prison. After his release, he was elected to the Council of the District of Columbia in 1992. He was elected again as mayor in 1994, serving from 1995 to 1999.

I'm desperately trying to hold on to what little hope I have left. If/when Hillary gets pardoned or exonerated any semblance of justice is truly dead. I fully expect that to happen, which is why I'm trying to believe that somehow, some way she won't be elected president.

Like it has been from day one...the 2016 cycle is Hillary's to lose.

The recent Trump vs. Cruz wife battle is another shining example of how Hillary is STILL going to cake-walk right into that office.

She SHOULD be going to jail...but she WILL wind up in the Oval Office.

Sad...but true.

Bernie has no chance. The DNC is in the tank for Hillary. The Dem primary is rigged with the large amount of super delegates. Hillary has been selected. G*d it will be awful to have to put up with her shrill voice, stupid mannerisms, and horrible ideas for America. She is as much a communist as Bernie. I hope a miracle happens and a Republican is elected, but I have my doubts.
