dang, this just amazing, she did the adult part! On the other hand, what harm if any did she do to her body?

Milla Bizzotto, a 53-pound 9-year-old from South Florida recently completed the Battlefrog race BFX24 — a 24-hour U.S. Navy SEAL-inspired obstacle course that requires participants to:
race 36 miles
swim eight kilometers
25 obstacles that include a rope climb, crawling under barbed wire and climbing a 12-foot wall for six laps. (one event is carrying 50 pounds)

I've had these sorts of events on my radar for a while now. The wife and I started Crossfit about a year and a half ago and I just finished my first Crossfit Open last week. I'm down about 60lbs and quickly closing in on my weight goals plus having a blast doing it. As I get in better physical shape I'm looking to challenge myself more and these sorts of events are what I'm thinking will be the next transition. I'd like to think that this summer I'll sign up for a few similar local-ish events and see how I enjoy them. I've heard of the Battle Frogs series and I believe they come to Colorado once a year or so so maybe I'll look into this event because it seems like it's for a good cause. Curious to hear from others who may have done this and their experience with this or similar events.

Good on her for doing that but she did it because she was "bullied". Why not teach your kid to stand up for herself and maybe fight back a little? Now she is going to be made fun of for doing this. Maybe I'm just cynical though.
