I've never built an AR before, but recently found myself with two lowers for a deal that I couldn't pass up on. Now I want to build an M16A2 clone, but am having difficulty locating the necessary parts. I've found Blackthorne (research tells me to stay away), and Del-Ton, who I can't really find a conclusive answer about. Where should I go to get good quality parts for what I want to build?

You can get good parts kits from the likes of BCM or Sionics.
G&R Tactical carry Colt lower parts kits minus the fire control group here: http://www.gandrtactical.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?preadd=action&key=SPK99796

It's out of stock at the moment, but I'd buy this stock: http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-AR15-M16-A2-Rifle-Stock-Kit-p/stock%20a2%20kit%20-%20black.htm

Someone else might have better info on where to find uppers. A search didn't reveal anything worth recommending so it might be best getting a stripped A2 upper receiver and go from there.

I doubt if you'll get any positive feedback about Del-Ton on this board..
