Sequence of firing was top left. bottom left, bottom center, top center and top right. The top center target impact marked Po was called by the shooter. The "flyer" in the top right group was a round with inadequate neck tension and showed an aberrant velocity on the Oehler 35P chronograph... go figure that matters! Notes: A sight adjustment was made after the first 5 rounds; 1/10 mil down and 1/10 mil Left. B the first round with 178's impact was on the top of the orange diamond, as was the fourth slightly higher.

Rifle used an Accuracy International with a 20" barrel length. So my real underlying question here is how to make the Hornady bullets shoot with similar precision to the Sierra's.

Opinions appreciated, knowledge based responses worshiped. :-)

We've been able to get the 178s to shoot every bit as good as 175s. We just stick to 175s for commonality...

But WOW... that's tough. I have a buddy who has a barrel that shoots 178s just as good... but 5 MOA to the left... consistently. I want to say get some Lapua brass... but you're getting good results with the 175s... so my next thought is try another propellant.
