Soft "quick reaction" body armor recommendations?

Hey guys, I already own multiple plate carriers with hard plates (maingun patriot plate and others) but I'm looking for something I can put on a little more quickly if I am investigating bumps in the night or if a SHTF type thing happens and I don't have time to get my normal kit together. Basically something that is soft, quick to put on, not too heavy and probably rated II or IIIa and also offers some rated protection against slash/stab/blunt-force trauma. I'm having a helluva time finding anything as it seems most products are centered around full plate carrier inserts.

Depending on sizing I could also see using something like this as reserve armor for family members that wouldn't be capable of carrying 15 lb carrier (and in my case those carriers have molle gear and all the other cowbells).

Does anyone have a recommendation for something that will fit the bill?

I don't know if it's available yet, but the Crye Precision LVS looks like another option that will fit the bill.

That looks like exactly what I am after, I will check into it, I'm not in a big hurry and that might be worth a few months wait and a bit more moolah up front.
