I am putting together a Ruger 22/45 with an Aimpoint T1 and a Surefire x300v.

I'd like to have a holster for it, but have no idea where to begin. Any suggestions?

I have delt with F3 Holsters. They are great. Not sure if they can do it but it is worth a shot.

Kydex or moodex?

Tom at Dark Star Gear is very good at custom Kydex, I like his stuff.

I'm honestly not sure who could do that rig in leather.

I'd guess that you'd have to make that yourself unless a holster maker can and will take the time to modify a blue gun to mold the kydex to fit your one-off pistol. The tools to mold your own holster are not that expensive, so you might want to give it a try.

So far I've sent an email to OEM Holsters because they had this on their website: "We can create holsters for just about anything, and we like a challenge. "

I'll look into the other guys now.

Grizzly Outdoors does an excellent job, and has an improved belt loop design imo

Just want to follow up with this.

Mike has sent me an extremely informative and helpful email and has actually already done this project once before and sent me a pic of it. I am extremely satisfied he will lead me in the right direction and thank you all for the information.

I will update this after the work is complete.

Mike at OEM Holsters is an outstanding guy. Here's what he made up for me - even made it so that I can remove the suppressor with the pistol holstered. Even went out of his way to acquire an x300v as it sizes differently than a standard x300.

Prices are very fair, comms are good, and I have nothing but good things to say. He will be getting all my holster business from now on.

That came out great! I have been meaning to get around to doing a review of the trigger cover he made for my M&P.

That's a nice holster. I need to get him to do one for me, for a G19 with an Advantage Arms .22 slide.

He's also done some open front style suppressor holsters. Great product. He'll discuss virtually anything you want.
