Okay who has them and the best price? I see that alot of people are looking for these and some really like these better than there glocks! Been on the other boards and alot of people seem to think these are really built well!

I bought one on the last day of the mag promotion. I paid $510 plus tax for the gun, 3 mags, and factory night sights (plus two more mags enroute from the promotion). This was the LEO price in Columbus Ohio at Vance's.

I felt it was worth the two hour drive north. Especially when I tagged along for the ride in a city owned vehicle picking up ammo, and didn't have to pay for the gas...

Even I would concider crossing the Mason Dixon Line and going to Columbus, if I could get that deal!

M&P9L's have yet to appear on the gun store shelves here in Southern Georgia... not that I'm in any hurry to get one... ;).

I can't remember ever wanting a pistol as bad as I do the M&P9L, not even exactly sure what I will do with it, but I want one just the same.

Yeah, I like mine a lot!
I've only shot a few matches with it.
12th (of 21) in Open Minor at the monthly Fredericksburg VA USPSA match (against real Open shooters, my gun has iron sights not optics).
17th (of 71) at the S&W Steel Challenge match in Limited.
1st (of 32) at the annual Blackwater Multi-gun match in Tactical.

The M&P9L I got had the heaviest trigger pull I have yet to see on an M&P. As We have been using the M&P9 as an issued weapon for about 2.5 years, I've seen a couple M&P's....

One of our Dept. armors has picked up a trick or two working on sears (of non-duty guns...). He worked on my M&P9L just a bit. Got it down to around 4.0 - 4.5lbs.

We have seen the M&P triggers smooth up and go down about .5 to .75lb somewhere around the 5K round count.

My new M&P9L did not have any "Gritty feel" in the trigger, as it came form the factory. Though this can be made to go away by polishing the triangle projection on the trigger bar, and the edges of the plunger in the slide (that disengages the firing pin safety) that it slides across and pushes up.

I like the M&P9L enough that I'm taking my Glock 34 to the next gun show and selling it off. If you would have told me a couple of years ago that I would sell off one of my 9mm Glocks , I 'd have said you must be nuts!

I'm still keeping my Glock 19 though!

I can hardly blame you.
