I stopped by Tandy Leather on Friday and picked up the stuff to make an IWB holster for my Kahr E9.
This is my first attempt at making a holster and I can't believe I got it right the first time. It took at least 6 hours of labor to make but it was worth it.

Here is a link to a quick web page I made to show the progress:

Wow, that must feel like quite an accomplishment! Congratulations.

Radio Shack? :) (Sorry, couldn't resist)
Seriously, that holster looks as good or better than any I'd purchase. Good job!

That looks really god. I know you said this was your first holster, however, have you made other leather projects in the past? Again, job well done!
That looks really good. It looks like you've had experience with this before

Well done.:)
Nicely done I must say!
Look good, I've thought of trying it myself. How much was the stuff to make it.

Here is the list of items I used. I had to purchase items with an asterisk. Leather was $6.00, the rest was $30.
8.5 x 11” paper and pencil for drawing the pattern
Scissors - the heavy duty craft kind.
Sharp razor knife
Enough leather for the holster*
Leather glue (I used gorilla glue, not necessary but makes sewing easier)
Overstitcher*
Waxed white thread*
Stitching needles*
1/16” drill bit and drill to make the holes for sewing.
Snaps*
Snap tools*
Small clamps to hold leather in place while glue is drying. Another idea I read about was to use those small black binder clips from an office supply store.
Neatsfoot oil
Leather punch for making holes for the snaps - You could use a drill bit for this also.
