Relisting the AICS and magazines separately.
The Rifle
Up for sale is a new in box Remington 700 5R Milspec, chambered in .223 with a 24" stainless 5R-profile barrel. The rifle is new and unfired, mounted in an AICS chassis/stock. It was purchased, mounted in the AICS, and has sat in my safe for the last year. It's absolutely flawless cosmetically (as far as factory 700's go). I was going to build a .223 bolt action, but I decided that I'd rather go with a .308 semi-auto instead, so I'm selling this to free up funds.
If you're unfamiliar with the 5R Milspec, it's a special order rifle from Remington, available in a few calibers (including .308 and .223). It's not listed in their standard catalogue. You can read about it here: http://www.snipercentral.com/remington-700-milspec-5r/
The rifle includes the factory HS Precision stock (same stock as shown in the link above), factory box, all packing and papers, including the warranty registration card.
The AICS stock (which the rifle is mounted in) is also new - the only thing I've done is mount the 5R in it. It's a short-action model, and thus will fit any Remington 700 short action. Includes original AI factory box, all documentation, etc.
Extras
Additionally, I'm including 3x AI .223 10 round magazines ($40 each) and a NEAR Manufacturing scope base ($180+shipping from NEAR). All you really need is a scope and rings - this is ready to run as-is.
How Much
The rifle typically sells for $1100, when it's available. The AICS 2.0 stock sells for about $850 now. The magazines are an additional $120 and the mount is an additional $180+shipping. Total current market value of everything is $2250. For transparency, I paid $2500 at the time of purchase.
I'm asking $1800 shipped for everything, or best offer. I'm also flexible and open to fair offers. I'd like to move this so I can move on with my .308 project. Will also consider trade (+ cash on my end) for a NIB LMT MWS, SR-25, SCAR-17.

I accept check, money order, or cash in the event of a face-to-face meeting (Nashville, TN area - must bring valid state-issued identification and be legally able to own a firearm).
Shipping
Upon receiving payment, I will ship the rifle to a verified FFL of your choosing.
