View Full Version : LMT 10.5 buffer
I was wondering what the mfg recommends for the this set up. It runs with a carbine buffer but brass is thrown quite aways, short strokes with a 9mm buffer. Unsuppressed.
I'm going to want it to run suppressed and regular on the same buffer. Thoughts? H1,H2?
I run that setup with an H2. Both with and without can runs fine.
Thanks, I'll give it a try.

When I purchased a 10.5" from Grant, I called LMT and asked for their tech dept. Amazing , they have one (1) person. He called back w/in one hour and I asked about buffers. Since they are primarily a .gov supplier, he made mention of using only mil spec ammo.... recommended an H2 buffer w/ the 10.5.
So, I have an CMT H2 and nothing but reliability. Tried an H3 and a RRA 9mm~ 'bout the same and it runs every time.
Call 'em.
