I have not been able to get the TNVC website to work for over a week. I also noticed that their add was gone from M4C. Anyone know anything about what is going on with them?

Thanks

I have nothing. Phone or computer.

So everyone else can get on......well that makes it a different issue.

Thanks

No problems here, either.

Which reminds me...

Someone recommend me the cheapest three-hole pattern shroud that doesn't suck...

Need one for my bump helmet.

Wilcox L4.

Wilcox L4 G24 with the Wilcox bayonet adapter if you only have the bayonet mount on your NV.

They're 60 bucks.

I can never get the goggles close enough for proper eye relief. Sample size of one pair of PVS-31s; but compared to the Norotos AKA2, it's a substantial difference.

But it is a very lightweight and extremely well built piece of equipment. Maybe it will work for others, but I prefer the AKA2 for dovetail attached NODs.

Aaaaaaand good.

I don't know what I saw, but it was $489 and I couldn't hit the back button fast enough.

Thanks, homie.

Yeah, normally Wilcox means "add a 0" to the price.

Best kept secret in 3-hole shrouds right there.

I too prefer Norotos to Wilcox. The AKA2 feels solid when the NODs are flipped down, whereas with the Wilcox arm there is some play. You will notice this most when you are running, jumping, climbing, etc. When I was using a Wilcox L2 G05 mount, I ran bungees to keep tension on the arm to prevent my goggles from bouncing around.

What you probably saw was the L4 G24 breakaway mount.

It is the premium "male parts" for the L4 shroud. I've used one since they were released. They work, they are nice, but there are comparable and less expensive options as others have noted.

This is driving me nuts. This is what I am getting:

This site can’t be reached

tnvc.com’s server DNS address could not be found.
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN

Any one know what is going on?

Doc, DNS setting errors are usually the result of serious malware at work. Since it is happening on two devices that seems somewhat odd.

Try running superantispyware and malwarebytes on your computer and see what they find. I'm just guessing since it is happening on your phone and your PC.

ETA: Doc if you are getting the error using Chrome, try a different browser to see if that works first.

Roger that. Thanks.

This is intended for my cheap-o Protec, with a spare Rhino I have laying around.

I was like, "Naaaaaaaa." When I got my first result in the search.

So, what you're saying is that Doc's computer has got AIDS. Gee, I wonder how that could have happened. :secret:

Remember Doc, Combivir can only do so much...

How good is your wife at routers? Could she be blocking that site to slow you down? ;)

No! Not aids at all but some form of STD, more akin to G or S; you know the sort that took out Al Capone. :)

There are strains of gonorrhea that are resistant to EVERYTHING. They are the gift that keeps on giving all year long. Emergence of these strains caused me to cut short my medical mission trip to Bangkok a couple of years ago. I could easly see how one of these strains could cause a computer to go haywire if certain body fluids were to somehow contact the keyboard or screen.

I heard that you can get herpes even though you use a condom, perfectly, every single time.

Is that true?

Like, not in a "one in a million" shot way. I mean, is it likely if the choice of partners is limited to graduate school aged interns and divorced women in their 30s?

It is all about suppression........

It can't be AIDS because my computer is on PrEP..... :jester:

And Euro..... Sorry, but yes....

That is correct. Condoms are not perfect protection against any STD. Most people come (no pun intended) into contact with some vaginal secretions on their skin even if they use a condom. That is why I'm sticking to anal.
