OK, so I purchased this QD swivel for my CTR: http://www.blueforcegear.com/product.cfm?type=cat&cat_id=5&prod_id=107

It rubs on the top portion of the stock when going parallel to the buttplate. Is this normal for these swivels on a CTR or is there a brand out there that works without rubbing?

All the swivels I have are of similar design. Anything built for 1.25" straps will most likely rub against your CTR. Is it chewing into your plastic or just burnishing it?

I have a CTR, but do not like the sling QD point that far back. Consider a DD endplate or bolt on, or a TD bolt on:

I prefer and use the DD QD endplate as it is a cleaner looking install and weighs less.

Just burnishing it. I just wanted to ensure I wasn't selecting the wrong swivel.

I'd like to try a different location for that rear QD. Maybe that DD gizmo will do the trick.
