First off, screw Fear the Walking Dead. It's turbo lame.

But THIS.

OMG, This show was like Father Dowling Mysteries from Hell and on acid.

It has bizarre atmosphere like The Stand, it has a cockney vampire, it has existentialism/nihilism/agnosticism/humanism/old school Vacation Bible School in Dixie all rolled into ONE, it has an ambiguously brown chick who sounds country as hell and looks like Maya Rudolph 15 years ago with a lot of Apocalyptic Wrath of God hints.

Drinking, Cussing, Fighting, Weird Stuff, Preaching, and I just loved it.

It was far out.

If the subsequent episodes are even half as interesting, this will be my joint.

and once again, screw FTWD

Every time I hear "preacher" I can't help but think of Pale Rider, Eastwood's third best Western.

Saw the trailer for this, looks interesting though I will have to wait to rent it.

I DVR'd the pilot, but haven't watched it yet. Sounds like the only thing missing is T&A.
