Arisaka Keymod Scout Mount Failure

So as i tossed my AR onto the couch... The scout was rotated when i picked it up. It appears that the screw sheared through the mount placement options. I ****ing break EVERYTHING. Ordering a KAC scout mount... The sides of the scout on the Arisaka are not reinforced, which i believe led to this failure, as well as the long body of the AA vampire body acting as a long breaker bar. Cant wait for the "neva seen befo'" crowd

Per forum rules, did you reach out to Arisaka first? What did they say?

Truthfully I haven't encountered an end-user failure like this before, so I suspect an error on our end when the part was made. The screw heads and the screw threads are both supposed to be a pretty tight fit so that there's dual support. And yes, that light is very long, and would definitely create some serious leverage.

Arisaka has reached out which is more than can be said for the OP posting this without even contacting them and allowing them to address the issue. It will be opened if needed after a resolution.
