What parts are not milspec replaceable?

Can the KAC proprietary E3 bolt be replaced with a milspec bolt?
Barrel?
Gas tube?
What else?

The bolt can be replaced with a mil spec bolt, but from what I understand this shouldn't be done if you could avoid it. Basically, it will work if needed in an emergency.

Mod 2 gas tube is proprietary I believe.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to replace the barrel with any other. Just know that while a KAC barrel extension can work with a non-KAC bolt, you won't be able to use the KAC bolt with a standard barrel extension.

The firing pin and cam pin are also not interchangeable.
