I'm wondering what type of cowitness I'd get with this larue setup on an M4s with Troy buis.

Ideally what I want is a center cowitness through the M4s. It's already high up since this is going on a 416.

Looking at the M4 mounts, they offer a "short" mount for use on the 416. They offer it as a combo with the M4, but it doesn't look like they offer it with the M4s. I wonder if if the battery tube position and low height of the 416 mount cause interference? Link (http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactical/Detail.bok?no=159)

I'd give them a call and make sure they've got what you need.

Alright. I don't really want to give them a call. That's why I asked here.

And the "416" mount that they offer has nothing to do with this. They do that when for use with standard 416 sights.

I'm using troy buis. The flattop upper they are on doesn't matter.

The question is what larue mount do I need to use with troy buis sights to get cowitness in the center of an M4s.

It's highlighted in red on the page you linked to: (Tall, 1.725) for standard AR15 / M16 / M4 uppers) OR LT659-NV (Med. 1.535) for absolute-cowitness and compatibility with USGI night vision mounts

"Absolute co-witness" is what you are looking for.
