Agreed.

Though I am not sure I would put a video up on the net myself of my kids anywhere near a gun. You never know who might see it and complain to "Child Protective Services"

I think she did it on her own.

I was just giving popo a hard time for being "that" guy. No worries. :D;)

I think having small fingers helps with that drill. I have to use a dental pick to remove the firing pin retaining pin. Unfortunately for her, my daughter has stubby fingers like me and will likely have the same difficulty. It may be a while before we start working with ARs anyway. I'm starting her out with a single shot .22

This Dad teaches his eleven year old daughter how to strip an AR-15 machine gun and reassemble it in 53 seconds.

But yeah, a great example...i have no problem removing the firing pin retaining pin with my fingernail...but I do need the cotter pin to pop out the ejector ertaining pin...

"AR-15 machine gun" is not nearly as misguided a comment as the funny/ frightening "automatic revolver" occasionally used in editorial commentary.

Hey, all revolvers are automatics -- they automatically turn to the next round ! ;)
