My Brother in law and good friend is a Major in the Army. He called me drunk tonight from Texas to remember to tell him happy birthday tomorrow. I told him to ditch the commission and join the Marines! But, in all seriousness, as someone who raised his right hand, thank you and Godspeed. I was 14 and worked at a coffee shop in the airport when we invaded Iraq in March of 2003, and I remember all the reservist lining up to get on a plane about a month before, still very vivid in my memory. This is a quote from Jon Stewart "Many of our soldiers are stationed at Camp Coyote just south of the Iraqi border. This is how you know we have a strong army, when you can actually tell your enemy exactly where your camp is and what its name is."
