I'm looking for a 10mm for hog and deer hunting and wanting the smallest grip and shorter trigger reach I can get . Witch glock has the smallest grip and shorter trigger reach a G20 gen? or a G40 gen4 ?

No Gen listed for your G20, but the Gen 4 G20 and G40 frames are identical. Just slide differences.

Do you not have gun stores locally to go try and see what fits you? They may have the .45 version of them which are identical in size

The frame sizes between the G40 and G20 are identical. The only differences in grip you are going to find is in between different generations. For example, a standard Gen 3 G20 frame is the same size as the Gen 4 frame with the medium backstrap. The Gen 4 sans backstrap is the same size as the Gen 3 SF model.

I got to handle a g20 gen3 and a g40 gen4 at cables and the g40 gen4 is the winner for me ,thanks for the input.

I noticed the difference in the G3 and G4 45s. With smaller hands the G4 fills less bulky and I kinda want a 41 now to go with my 34 and 35.

Gen3 SF or Gen 4, or you could always have a grip reduction done.

I have a Glock 20 gen 4. It fits my hand pretty well without a backstrap installed.

I have an 1991 G20 that I am considering a grip reduction. Is there someone who can replicate a G20SF grip on a Gen 2?

Yes. Ben at Boresight Solutions in Miami did it on my Gen2 Glock 20. He's neither fast nor cheap, but the work is first quality. If you're interested, I can send you pictures.

I have a G-40 and a Gen 3 G-21SF. I can confirm that the medium back strap on the 40 is equivalent to the SF. Even the SF and small Gen 4 back strap don't feel as good as the Accurate Iron grip reduction I had done on the SF, which feels a lot more like the 9/40 frame.

I'm looking for someone to do a grip reduction on my G20SF. I'm in SE Idaho and would like to work with someone who is close enough that I can stop by and try to get a feel for what I want to do.
Anyone have a suggestion? I'm about 2 hours north of Salt Lake and 3 hours from Boise.
Thanks in advance!

I was just going to ask about this same topic. My local shop didn’t have a G20, but I compared the Gen 3 G21SF and the Gen 4 G21. It may be my imagination, but I felt like the Gen 4 grip was slightly narrower (side to side) compared to the Gen 3. It may just have been the different grip texture that was throwing me off. I’m guessing they’re the exact same width.

I got the sudden feeling a couple days ago that I “need” a G20. You know, for bears.. and moose... in Texas. Unfortunately, I want one in OD green, which will probably be hard to find these days.
