When Will The Sig 556 Pistols Arrive At Dealers?

This means actually ariive at dealers and hit the shelves, not just shipping.

The winner will get............the satisfaction of correctly predicting the unpredictable gun manufacturing industry:D:D.

Uh...yeah. Notice it says "Out of Stock. Accepting Orders."

I saw eternal24k's pics (like posted above). A dissapointment. The handgaurds are just chopped 556 handgaurds with the bottom rail shaved off, comes w/ standard A2 FH (which ain't so bad), the pistol was advertised (in pictures) with a 16 tooth QD FH (like the SWAT Rifle). Eternal24k says the RDS is cheesy.

While I like my SIG 556 16' I hav'nt made any mods to it because I cannot find much I care for, mainly a rail system and I am starting to hate those factory sights, I would much rather have a set of Troy's on it.

This pistol on the other hand looks like shit,I really expected and improvement. Ths thing don't intrest me at all.

Starting to look like time to dump off my 556 cheap. I could put the money into better things for my Ar's or get a nice Arsenal 106.

Handled one at my local dealer yesterday. $1,399 out the door with the Sig micro dot. They shaved the rail off the bottom of the front handguard so you can't attach a VFG. No provision for attaching a light or laser which would be really nice. It also had a lsing plate on the back so you can put it on a single point and look all secret service.

Was at a gun show today and saw the XCR and the SIG 556. Picked up both and though that the XCR felt better! Price was cheaper by about $200. Of course both had no sights which still irks me! For that kind of money they want for those there should be some decent sights on these rifles!

My local dealer had one of these in stock. I believe it was $1500.

I'm not really crazy about rifle-calibre pistols. They're unweildy as hell, and I've yet to determine any type of sound application for 'em.

The only sound application for a rifle caliber pistol is doing the paperwork and turning it into a SBR :D.

Everybody seems to be getting their Sig 556 Pistol in....but me  . When I talked to the dealer last week, he said that he didn't expect it in anytime soon.

Saw several today at the Charlotte gun show. Fit and finish were along the lines of the other 556s I've seen. Looks like the upper and lowers are made by two separate companies.
