I'm looking into a .22 WMR J frame (model 103351LE) and can't figure out if there's a no-lock model. Has anyone seen such a thing in the wild?

Pictures on first post. No-lock models are apparently out there. Get a hold of Grant at G and R; he'd know.

Greg Bell might also have some info; he's got a thread around here on the topic of .22 revolvers.

Edited: If you weren't wise to it already, this is a great read: https://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?90033-S-amp-W-442-or-other-J-frame-as-sole-self-defense-weapon
Some very good minds contributed to this thread.

Bought one about a year ago that was lock free. Looked at another since that was also lock free.

I got 2 pages into that referenced J-frame thread and no one had yet mentioned the 9-shot 22 Mag airweight. My local dealer/revolver smith can't keel them in stock. Not for me or for you, but mostly sold to the wives & girlfriends. Practicing handling w/ the laer grip is a plus, nevermind the reduced recoil & noise.

I'm not saying it is a logical choice for YOU, but I'd rather my lady have a 9-shot revolver she isn't afraid of and can confidently hit something with ... than nothing.
