Personally I'm not a fan of the XS sights. There are a number of threads that mention the reasons for different opinions on the XS sights:

As far as the CCW holster goes, how do you want to carry the pistol? For belt holsters, Raven Concealment makes good ones that can be easily converted into IWB carry. Blade Tech makes some nice IWB holsters. I usually carry my 9C as a backup in a Galco pocket holster.

I highly reccommend looking at Raven Concealment holsters. I've been very pleased with mine.

After much experimentation with Bog Dots, I can say that while they are very fast to pick up they do screwy things to point of impact vs point of aim.

My M&P9c wears its issue sights, they work perfectly for me and money spent on other sights would be better spent on ammo. I blacked out the rear two dots and added more white paint to the front one for the sight picture that I prefer and is consistent with all my other handguns.

I have two holsters for it, a Comp-Tac CTAC and a K&D Cochise Defender (http://www.kdholsters.com/iwb-defend.php). The Cochise Defender has apparently been superceded by the Thunderbird Defender. The only difference between the two are the belt loops that turn the T-Bird into an OWB pancake. Being a custom maker, Kevin can leave them off if you like.

Of the two holsters I have for the M&P, the Cochise is the most comfortable one. I trim off the bottom of the clips once I set them to my liking, increasing comfort while seated.
