NOTICE! DO NOT RE-POST ARTICLES & PICS THAT YOU DO NOT OWN!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Forum, blogs, etc are being sued over their members posting articles and photo's that they do not own.

You can post a link to an article or a photo, but do not copy and paste it here in its entirety unless you wrote it!

If anyone sees a re-posting of an article or photo, please report it to a mod or staff member.

For now, a short summary of the article in your own words plus your commentary will work. Threads that have nothing but a link will be deleted.

Product Reviews Written by M4C Forum Member Requirements

Written Product Reviews - Written product reviews must be posted in their entirety on M4Carbine.net with at least half of the article's photos. A link can be provided to additional content available on another site at the end of the article.

Video-only Product Reviews - A written summary of the review must be provided on M4Carbine.net, and the video embedded in the M4C post. No external links are allowed in the post.

Written Product Reviews that include a video - The text of the article must be posted in its entirety on M4Carbine.net with at least half of the article's photos, and the video embedded in the post. A link can be provided to additional content available on another site at the end of the article.

External/Coded links to off-site content or sites are not allowed in signature lines, or signature files at the end of every post except in the case of staff, moderators, manufacturers, dealers, industry professional or SME's.

There have been a number of threads posted recently that contain links supported solely by thread titles or one-line "check-this-out" type posts. Please be reminded that M4C is not a redirection service. Please review the guidelines above and make any adjustments applicable to you.

Rule of thumb: Post a brief summary of information at any links so that members can decide whether or not its something they even want to click on. Add your own thoughts about what you think, and how it's relevant or worthy of discussion and sharing. Absolutely, positively note if there is NSFW content at the site. If it's a current event, always check to see if someone beat you to it or if there's an existing thread it fits in. Chances are, they did or there is.

Members receiving PMs about these types of threads have been responsive and understanding, but it's time to just send them to the trash. If your thread disappears, here's why. Thanks.

Reminder... Post discussion content when offering links and embedded videos. Not "hey can you believe this?!?!?!?" Thanks.
