So I finally put a Glock 6 LB Spring into my P99 and like it. Now, I want to make sure its utterly reliable. Any suggestions for practice ammo with hard primers? Thanks.

Something with Russian primers and something with CCI primers. Wolf, Tula, and Blazer.

CCI and Winchester small pistol are good for that. Much more known history and consistency than many of the imports.

I used to handload Wolf SRM primers for pistol before I knew how good they were for rifle ammo.... those used to choke up my G17 pretty bad with light strikes from the thicker cup.

Tula factory ammo. IIRC, Mike Pannone said that when he tested how light a spring he could get to work reliably in his PO7, he test it with Tula factory ammo. I'm pretty sure he also said Tula is using primers with a hardness spec'd out for submachine guns in its 9mm ammo, which explains why they're so hard.
