Blue Dot?

Do any of you have experience with Blue Dot powder in .223?
Can it be used in an AR?
It sounds pretty interesting, but I don't know if this is just a bolt gun load.

I have never used Blue Dot but I don't think it's purpose is for rifle loads, burns too fast.

I know it's a shotgun and magnum handgun powder, but a lot of varmint hunters are using it with up to 55 grain bullets for prairie dogs and ground hogs.
It's reported to be ultra clean and cool burning.
I want to know if any of you have experience with it in an AR?

OK, I did a search and see what you are talking about. It looks like they are using Blue Dot in reduced charge scenarios. I wonder if there is enough pressure to make a semi-auto run?

I do a similar thing with 30-06 using Unique and Titegroup but the bullets are moving much slower and I run them in my old 03-A3, a bolt action.

Reduced charge, but high velocity.
One guy that I spoke with yesterday claims 3300 fps with a 55 gr bullet.
I'm not going to publish the load here because I'm not sure that it's safe right now and I don't want someone blowing themself up.
