Let's say someone recorded a hunt through Gen3 Night Vision and wanted to put it on Youtube.

Does that violate ITAR or any other laws?

I don't see why it WOULD be an ITAR violation, but I also am NOT an attorney-at-law.

That said, I don't believe I've seen too many videos of Gen III NODs, either...

Not remotely the same thing as the link you provided.

He is not going to have a problem, 90% of the high end scopes are ITAR (no issues with distributing video or images through the scope). Video and pictures is not the same as providing schematics or reverse engineering.

based on the ITAR training I had to take recently I'd say no as it doesn't constitute technical details of how to build the device....
