Spent a little time with both the 308 and 6.5 RPR lately; here are my impressions:

Pros:
-Loaded with features for the price point which is around $1200-1300
-has a lot of aftermarket support currently
-CHF 4140 barrel threaded for suppressors or muzzle devices
-ergonomic controls (grip, safety, bolt)
-Comes with 1913 keymod rail; you can use either 1913 or keymod direct bipod mounts
-adjustable trigger which is generally decent for a factory option

Cons:
-The stock latches came open a few times despite me adjusting the tension pretty tight
-The bolt was a little sticky at first and feels loose right up until it's locked into battery

Like your videos. Informative.
I'm not an expert long range shooter but I can suggest something to improve your accuracy potential. Pick a different target with a small aiming point. Big 3" black dot does not allow as much precision aiming as a small cross, or small dot or diamond shape where the cross hairs can be lined up on the corners.
Keep the vids coming. Wish I could shoot as much as you get too.

Thanks. I hold on the bottom of the numbers for a smaller target but I really just grab whatever target it sitting on a bench in my garage as I go out the door. Every day at the range I'm shooting/evaluating about 20 guns and can't bring specific equipment for all of them.

OP, I am planning on replacing my Ruger stock with a PRS once i set the cash aside. I prefer the adjustments on the PRS to the Ruger stock.

Another great video, thank-- keep 'em coming!

Check out the LRI bolt shroud. Made my action a bit smoother.

I'll have to agree with you there.

If you want, you can send the Ruger stocks my way ;)

We had a student bring one to our last long range class. He had the same issues with the stock. The cheek piece would come unlocked while firing.

does anyone know if this is regarding the 308 or just the 6.5?

Thanks

I'm 99% sure he was referring to 6.5.
