I've had my H-nape for several years and its been awesome, but its pretty nasty so this is a two part question. First, have any of you found any good ways to clean the harness, especially the chinstrap? It seems like the more I wash it the quicker it gets dirty/sticky again. And second, is there a general consensus on a better chinstrap out now? I'm not looking for any of the complete liner/dial systems. I don't think I know of any but figured I'd ask if its time to replace this one anyways.

Hand wash with a soft bristle brush, simple green, and warm water.

It's tough to beat the H nape for both stability with NODs and overall comfort. And now that they're official Army issue for everyone, you can find them for pretty cheap. And you can jump with them...unlike most all other suspension systems on the market.

There are more stable if wearing heavy BNVDs (TW Cam Fit) and more comfortable (X Nape), but stick with the H.
