This is auto brightness protected, manual gain control. Improved definition. It actually is a nicer tube than the sd version. Package includes head mount, weapon mount. Mount fit perfect behind my aimpoint pro. Hasn't given me a lick of trouble. I've put less than 10 hours on it, previous owner said he put 1 set of batteries on it. Has the usual fisheye effect that all of these tubes have. Ir light really gives a good picture when there is minimal moon or starlight. I really like it, but don't have the time to run it like I thought I would. My loss, you're gain. Sf m952v is available for $150 with purchase of kit only.
