My 6920 (carry handle removed, LaRue BUIS, Vickers sling, H2 buffer, Colt low mass hammer, A2 fh) weighs in at 6lb 13.5oz w/out magazine.

Ditch the BUIS (2.9oz) and sling (5.1oz) and put the Colt carry handle back on (9.2oz) and we're back at 6lb 14.7oz w/out magazine. No where near 5lb 15.2oz as pub'd by Colt...

So most of them are fairly close together in weight? Its just a bad publishing?
