I've seen their parts and complete uppers on Brownell's ad I'm curious about the quality. Can anyone help? I tried a search with no luck.

I saw some of their complete weapons at Camp Perry and thought the overall finish was good. I did not break them down and check out the internals.

There was a chapter devoted to them in the Patrick Sweeny Book of the AR-15 volume 2. To paraphrase him, he said that they are a good basic rifle, ideal for build up. I would not expect staked castle nuts, 4150 barrels or MP tested bolts.

I been using some Hi Standard replacement parts as needed. They appear to be well made as far as one can tell by observation. Time will tell.

I remember readin on TOS that the high standard lower receivers were made by CMT..I'f that's true, I'd guess most parts are CMT.

My friend used a strip lower. The finish matches almost perfectly with LMT. The front of the magwell is very squared off. No problems with the lower.

Thanks! I'll likely give some of their stuff a try since they are located here in Houston.
